This is the man who is accused of murdering the 9 months pregnant, mother of his 2 year old son. This man also happens to be a cop, with a nice list of pervious offenses...including breaking into his ex-girlfriend's (who also has one of his children) house. From what I've gathered, he's had numerous complaints made against him during his time as an officer. So, how can you allow a man like this to remain an OFFICER OF THE LAW when he already has a history of violence? How could you possibly give this man a gun and authority over others? In alot of places in the US, you can't even work a temp job doing manual labor and making minimum wage with that kind of criminal history....but yet, this man remained in a position of power? Does anyone else here find something extremely fucked up about this? Not that I had much faith in our police forces anyway. Not when they break into old ladies houses, and then pump these old ladies full of bullets for defendng their homes....and THEN plant marijuana in their homes to make their homicide look excusable (ahem...ATLANTA!) Not when so many cops in this country are trigger happy, wife beating, child raping, DUI driving, drug dealing, defenders of law and order. Not when the cops get off clean for running over pregnant women and their small children while he's driving drunk. I'm thinking they might wanna set their standards a little bit higher.
I agree with you 100%. But as long as we have humans setting the rules for other humans the system is going to be screwed up. Look at the mess we have in Washington D.C. at this place in time. People in power making laws and decisions that control the whole country. The bad cops, remined me of the New Orleans cops sitting in a luxury suite hotel, drinking top shelf scotch, surrounded with stolen property while they were drawing overtime pay from the city and the tax payers were shitting in garbage cans. In a perfect world none of this would happen, but we havn't got there yet. At least Bobby Cutts has a 5mil bail on him. dont think he'll be making that one soon.
