Me and a friend of mine are starting a commune. It's an alternative to the modern society, out of the system, to get out of the cycle and into the new. Loving nature rather than destroying it, peace-loving, drug tolerant.

A completely self-sustaining, anarchist, education-based co-operational hippy commune, in tune with nature. Education including various skills, such as self-defense, identifying medicinal and edible plants and mushrooms, identifying animals and their tracks, primitive living skills, meditation, mind development, five sense mental imaging, visualization, and gardening. No laws, government is consensus only, involving talking circle to work out problems immediately or as soon as possible. Everyone must be willing and motivated to do physical labor to support the commune. If joining, an instrument is vital to bring, even if it's just a recorder, for audio learning of sounds.

Is located near Sicamous in the Rocky Mountains, in Canada (though not part of it...). Sound appealing, an alternative way of living, alongside nature and not against it, with emphasis on developing a healthy and effective mind (rather than diminishing it like modern society does, making it easier to control its citizens) and primitive living skills?

It may not be starting right away, but we're already spending a lot of time out there, in fact I'm going out this week for a couple weeks. We're living in our own made shelter, getting our own food, sustaining ourselves in the wilderness.
