So this is hard to explain but bare with me... At the age of 19 that it is about time to start living my life, not that I havent, but who am I really? is the question that I think everyone my age should be asking. We cant know by now right, so I have decided to set out on a journey to find out who I am mentally and spiritually. I am a young filmmaker and would like to document my journey and the relationships and experiences along the way. I am very interested in communes around the world and exploring them, the people within them, the meaning behind them. The idea has always been interesting to me, a place to escape to be in a sense free. I really want to explore this further and if you have any information I would be greatful. Thank you.
So maybe you should try to connect up with the Highway Bus Tribe that is traveling through the USA. I think there are a couple of them....check out the forums for Highway Child Tribe and maybe contact Drew...he could help you out with locations. Also you could do a search for intentional communities and check out their website...do a google search and that will lead you to all kinds of communal living opportunities....you might also want to check out Catholic Worker Communities. There are many throughout USA and they are a good alternative communal living community. If you need more suggestions, just let me know.
