I'm considering getting a myspace account.

For those of you who know me, you will know this is very odd cause I've always been very strong in saying "I won't ever get one"- I'm considering it though....

We shall see I guess. Hah.

Thanks. That's what I always thought and have said the same thing about the exception would be if I was in a band. Just seems like way too much drama for me. My friends know how to reach me and although I like people, I have never seen the need myself as I'd rather just talk to the people I do talk to then worry about weirdos from high school and stuff being able to find me.

So yes, I wanna be talked outta this weird idea of mine.

 

I think I'd rather just give my home phone number out to a select few than go through that kind of trouble...But, to each their own. shrug*

Myself and a friend are the only ones we know that dont have a myspace account. We each did awhile ago for about 2 weeks. All it is are pictures of you, and getting as many friends as you can. Or you may be trying to advertise something. Hell could be all three. I really cant stand "MySpace".

 

It just seems like I'm constantly being asked if I have one. And sometimes I do have thoughts and music ideas that I wouldn't mind discussing on a place where everyone seems to be but yeah, I totally agree about the just give my number to the people who I really want me to have it. I'm not interested so much in the social networking aspect of the site.

 

What about that facebook thing...? I'm so out of the loop....I'm loopless.

 

Well, facebook seems to be for high school and college and since I'm currently in neither?

And then I wake up, still wanna go but I don't do that either.

I've wanted to give into my best girlfriend wanting to sleep with me too. I don't do that. Maybe I should but my point is.... want means nothing to me.

 

No, don't get a MySpace account. I used to have one, they're no big thrill. Just a waste of time. When I go to someone's MySpace and see they have about 600 friends, I wonder how many of them they actually know, and how many are just there to raise the friend count.

Yeah, it reminds me way too much of high school... some weird popularity contest where people try to look popular or "cool". Not my style. I'd probably have 30 real friends the first couple weeks cause all my cousins and old friends that moved and people here, etc.- ask me all the time about myspace but I mean, what is the point? I'm NOT in a band. I talk to them all anyways.

Me not "getting it" is why I haven't gotten one thus far.

 

I know... you'd think I meant my kids the way I say it. Haha.

myspace is gay....just stay in touch with your friends by phone...its easier
