A new British bank holiday!

A country by any other name.

 

We have enough bank holidays already. And what a shitty thing to "celebrate"

I hate it when i need something from the shop or need a bus or whatever and enquire and the person im talking to says "But its bank holiday monday!!!!" like i must be a COMPLETE fool to expect to get what i want and need on a day designated to celebrate squirrels tails or some other insignificant bullcrap

I take it you don't hold a nine to five existence then because everyone who does would know when its a bank holiday, It basically means we get a three day weekend, unlike some who live with a seven day one.

 

That's one bank holiday I would definitely support!

True, so true. I don't want any more bank holidays, the kids have enough time off school as it is. It's al right for you lucky people that get out of your houses from 9-5 each day, but some of us have a house to run and don't need kids round my ankles demanding to be fed, or entertained for yet another day off school when I could be doing housework, like I am now...honest

 

I do actually. Well, 8-5.30. Nursery nurse. I still hate bank holidays. Maybe a thing from childhood

 

Oops wrong again, me and my blanket assumptions, I dunno. That just makes you weird then in my book.
