crazy.. I remember watchin this dude on WWE when I was young as hell... they haven't released the motive or anything - his son was seven years old and no gun were involved. They haven't given the details of how they were killed.

 

Yeah, Hacker told me all about this earlier. I don't follow wrestling but a sad situation nonetheless.

He used to be my favourite wrestler when I was like 10, and my friends made me watch wrestling with them. I liked his coldness and lack of emotion.

I never thought I'd see this, though. It's fucked up and I guess, whoever was responsible, had it coming to them, as... nobody is alive anymore.

Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard said he found the timing of the murder-suicide disturbing.

"It would appear some period of time elapsed between the death of the two victims and the suicide," said Ballard during a Tuesday afternoon news conference.

"It struck me as somewhat bizarre that he would even be in the home with their bodies."

Chris Benoit killed his wife on Friday and then killed his 7-year old son Saturday morning, Ballard explained.

The wrestler hanged himself in his basement weight room later Saturday, using weights attached to a pulley, Ballard said.

Bibles were found next to the murder victim's bodies, said Ballard.

He also said Nancy Benoit's hands and feet were bound.

Authorities said they are investigating whether steroids may have been a factor in the deaths.

Lt. Tommy Pope of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department said anabolic steroids were among the prescription medications found at the house. He did not say whom they were prescribed for.

Ballard said test results may not be back for weeks or even months.

"We don't know yet. That's one of the things we'll be looking at," he said.
