I need a few days off. I might come in and read posts, but I won't be posting much. I had to say Congrats to Sal for graduating though. Hope everyone keeps reading while I try to sort myself out. I figured I'd post this now, as opposed to last night, as hopefully now Sal is back and posting it won't be deleted. If it is though, it will only further give me proof that I need to move on for awhile. I love you guys. I know we've never met in person; but you are all a part of my everyday routine now. We all have choices as much as we have commitments outside the forum. One must realise that sometimes, too much time on the forum can be a bad thing, like with most things, too much of can be bad. On the positive, lets all realise that we can put the past behind us and that every day is a brand new day. (A Canadian told me that a long while ago) Hope you join us again shortly. Well,like you I too have commitments. I cannot stick on the internet all the time. A good break is a healthy break. Also you often come back refreshed and energised. And this can be channeled into this forum in a positive way. Most of us are hippies. We believe in peace, love, respect and dignity. There are too many wars in the world. Today I came back to see or morelike feel a tense and unsettling atmosphere. As though something is about to explode or as though one can no longer relax. I am finding it difficult to relax and get into my usual stride. To be honest, I fear the worst. That word, I am too afraid to say, but well, hell I am going to say it anyway,(Banned). This forum used to be a good forum. One where people got on okey and that yes, we all had our bumps, but now this is no longer a forum that you can let your hair down in and excercise freedom. I had a hunch that maybe this forum was a contradiction to the term Hippy and everything us hippies associate with: freedom of speech, peace, love and genuine tolerance. It seems now that the police squad have ventured out onto the hippy playground and now decent people are basically getting knocked off for things that would not result in an instant wipe out on any other forums. You see, it is possible to have a forum as this one used to be like. But sadly reality has set in and it is chilling to my bone. I can guess what happened. Hypocrisy in its purest form. This forum has lost its way. There are many innocent people here and it just shocks me to see devastation. It was worth the ride, as I knew this was perhaps the best forum I had ever been on. Now it has been filled with fear, there is no freedom of speech and it is practically an opressed forum. I am leaving with dignity. If I am banned for my post, well I will take it well. It is not everyday you come across a forum with such a relaxed non oppressive environment. It seems the dream has so tragically come to an end. Now I must face the wrath. Yep, I may be banned now, but I believe I have not done anything wrong, but excercise my opinion. You all have one life, one opportunity. Do you capture it or let it slip? Do you embrace it and change your lives into positive achievements, or do we let it all float away? Additional: In this tragic aftermath, the one thing that keeps me going, is the thought that tomorrow I can put this all behind me and get another chance. It was sad so sad to see Paulfreespirit banned. If he browses here. Let him see this: He was a good member. One that had his ways but he was honest and true to his character. An acet we have sadly lost. In a way it makes me angry. But sometimes you have to let your anger out in a constructive artform. Well, I hate long goodbyes.
