Hey- i been lisnin to this typa muzak for a wile. I dont like stuff w/ over-powering bass/drum and fast bass/drum i like the beautiful, flowing, slow stuff that gets you thinking. Of the artists i think of that i like- Trentemoller is one of em. I basically like music which can create scenery and induce relaxation (other than trance im into Enya) so can anyone hit me up w/ some suggestions. Also i was lisnin to a trance song a wile ago that had what sounded like a harp or accoustic guitar which was tremendous- any suggestions about artists that do that typa stuff? Tx!

Try Aphex Twin's Slected Ambient Works 85-92. Or I think you should buy Air's Moon Safari. Actually I think you'll prefer Moon Safari. The music is in the name of the album by a duo who give you a breath of fresh.....

this isnt electronic/trance music at all but this guy named Alan Stivell (celtic) is a bad ass at Celtic Harp and REALLY produces some surreal and tranquil emotions if that is what you are looking for. Not electronic at all though, very traditional and pure sounding. But if you liked the harp, this is what you want.

Shpongle

Art of Trance
Aes Dana
Mirror System
Makyo
Deviant Electronics

most of this is crossover between trance and downtempo. That seems to be what you're after.
