im a hippie... but i work on weekends as a promo girl where i run around dressed up in knee high boots n tiny shorts with half my butt hanging out...
is this going against all i believe in?? is it wrong of me?

well, to begin with i flat out refused to take part in it but lately i have been and i love it..
i used to object to girls wearin nothing and acting like hookers and everything
but since ive been doing it, ive been startin to think that maybe its ok if its a legit job, not selling ur body or anything, but not if ur just out for the day shopping or something.. i dont know

 

I say don't worry about it; worry more about what you eat or drink; your health; and once that is going good, everything else falls in place.

 

Yea, its not bad. If you dont become that person with those clothes on, its ok. As long as you stay true to yourself.

Exactly. What you are doing is only wrong if some part of you is telling you that it is. If you are okay with doing it, you aren't hurting anyone, and as stated before, as long as you don't BECOME the person in those clothes, wearing them is not wrong.

i don't know if i can fairly answer the question being a guy...
but i think that all that matters is what you feel is right. if you don't feel uncomfortable with it or like you're selling your body, then it's okay. it doesn't matter what others think.

marija, for starters, i dont wear my mammas clothes... and i do know there is more to it than what you're suggesting so please dont make assumptions that aren't necissarily true

 

Because I'm a native Welsh speaker, and wondered how someone from Oz would come about the Welsh language.

Also, don't listen to the people who say 'don't BECOME the person in those clothes', because that's quite frankly a load of bollocks. Whoever you are, whatever you do, it's all a fragment of your own character. The fact that you have hippie ideals, yet dress-up on the weekend symbolises everything that your character is and defines it. Don't constrict yourself because you think it doesn't fit into your other 'image'.

Be whoever and whatever you want to be.

Also, being a Promo-chic doesn't make you a slut (which what some people have been making out).

The good thing about Wales is that we haven't lost are heritage entirely. I just wished it was a nicer place to live in the South.
