sooo it's recently (today) come out that my girlfriend has encountered hpv. we don't use protection, outside of the birth control pill. upon further studies, it has come to my attention that certain strains of hpv can be cured within months naturally. my question to this: is this natural cure with or without sexual activity? neither of us have the warts that COULD be associated with certain strains of hpv, but she did have abnormal cells within her cervix. i'm just curious about some information as to how we can get cured. if certain "abnormal" cells were eliminated during her latest observation, is she capable of getting hpv from me again? or is she immune? i'm just new to this whole concept... i'm curious for answers/information.
she should be asking her doctor these questins, or you asking your doctor. youre in canada, its not like it costs you to go visit your doctor and talk about your sexual health btw something like 70-90% of sexually active women have been exposed to hpv at least once in their lives
I had HPV before. I started an organic vegetarian diet. it took a little over a year to cure myself naturally from all signs of HPV. Yes, you could give it back to her! I ditched the dude who gave it to me. The thing is that men can never know if it is out of his system. Tell her to get the gaurdasil (sp?) vaccination. Good luck!
Its very hard to get rid of. If you have it a lot of people can carry the virus for life without showing any symptoms (and the vaccination isn't effective if you already have it and only offers protection from 6 or 7 of the most common strains, out of around 100). Its more serious for women as its the main environmental cause of cervical cancer, that's why the vaccine was developed.
