I cannot stand Rachel Ray (not slamming your post, FYI). I just can't stand her. A guy at work says, "..guys just dig her." I can see that, she is cute. BUT SHE NEVER SHUTS UP!!! OMG, shut the FUCK UP Rachel!

Though, in the early evenings after work if we're watching TV together and nothing is on, we tune into her show Meals in 30 minutes, or whatever it's called....and we lampoon her the whole time. Like Mystery Science Theater. *lol* We have fun doing that.

And, if you really take note of the meals in 30 minutes show, those meals take anything BUT 30 minutes. I mean who has all those fresh herbs ready to go, in the fridge for any old meal with a thousand steps to it? A lot of her recipes = many trips to the grocery store for "fresh veggies" and "fresh herbs" during the week. Those things start to break down if you do your shopping once a week like most of us do. So, yeah that means you have to stop on the way home to get the fresh herbs or veggies...how much time does that add to the dish, and does that count? It should! I'm a cook from WAY back, professionally and personally, and she always makes me shake my head. How on earth did she get a show? Oh yeah, she's "bubbly", like champagne.

And speaking of "bubbly", did I say yet she should shut the F up? And what's with the one trip from the fridge or the cupboards with everything in her arms? I don't know one cook who does that. She thinks it's cute I'm sure. And if she says awesome, killer or superterriffic one more time, I think I'll hurl in her soup. :ack:

And now, she's on food crap at the stores! Someone please, deliver me! Thank gawd her face does not grace whole wheat Ritz, yet.
