New to the site, loving all of it thus far. I'm from Austin, Texas... Lots of music, lots of sites, and a lot of us "alternative" folks. So anyway - hello!
Julie? Can you clarify something for us? Your location above says Texas. However, your myspace.com link says New Zealand. Either way, you've got a cute pic at least!
Thanks and pleased to meet you all as well! To answer your question KL71, I do in fact live in Texas. The New Zealand thing started off as a joke and I haven't yet bothered to change it. Maybe one day I'll live there... ?
Oh cool! I've never been to Texas, sad to say. I'm nearly halfway between NYC and Boston. It costs quite a bit to live here though. Anyways, I have a few attempts at photography on a different page. Up to you!
Austin is the only good thing about the place. Well that and the cheap prices on marijuana. ;P Saw your photography, your attempts weren't wasted. Congrats. Haha.
I'm thinking about building an arc. Honestly, the rain is getting to be a bit ridiculous. I love rainy days though, so I'm in heaven right now. Though I would like to see the sun just a bit more.
I don't blame ya! As for the pics, I didn't travel yesterday (Thursday) like I was going to. Otherwise, there would've been some variety. As for me, I don't drink, smoke, have any wife or kids. Most of my time is taken up by work, etc. Damn! P.S. Yes, I AM 36, unfortunately. (_8(I) -Oooooooooooohh! Juuuuuuuulllliiieeee!! [HOMER]
Hello Julie & Welcome to the forums. Glad you found us. Hope your doin ok with all the rain down your way, please send us some, but not as much as you all have had! lol We are in a drought. Hope you have lots of fun here. Peaceful thoughts your way.... Farmout
I will try everything I can to get some rain over there! Luckily, my part of town hasn't flooded too badly so I haven't had to evacuate. Also... some news - I saw the sun for the first time in days today! It didn't rain an inch! I am so excited :]]]
YAY! We need a little here but not TOO much. BIG t-storms missed my part of Connecticut for two straight days. Wish you luck over there in Texas Julie!
