Ok here is my problem. Girls usually think im great looking until I take my shirt off and they realise how skinny I am. Only problem is, I cant gain weight even when I try! Im 19 years old, I eat large quantities of food all day, and i weigh around 125 lbs.. Are there any guys out there going through the same thing? Are there any females out there who dont have such a problem with this? Ive even tried some sexual online (cam) encounters and it goes the same way. Im a funny, sweet, and amazing in bed kind of guy, but Ive never been very successful with girls because of it. In my real life situations, they always end up finding a guy more beefy or muscular than me after a week or so of dating. On the web, its not much different.. For example, just recently I was chatting with one on cam and she thought I was really attractive so she took all of her tops off, then she said, "your turn" and when I did she blocked me :/ Im not even ThAt skinny. Im just slim figured... So yea before discovering that my unescapable problem is going to make my life miserable, I had a lot of self respect and confidence, and its just blown out of the water now.. nothin I can do I guess So my question is, is being thin really that much of a turn off for women?
I'm 20, and I weight 120 pounds... I've weighted 120 pounds, 5+/- for the last 3 years of my life. I just say, work out man. I was just skinny, but then I did two summers of extremely physical labour... now I'm skinny, tanned, and muscular. The epitome of perfection!
i prefer skinny guys. many women do. don't worry about it. just look for a woman who cares for you as a person and isn't hung up on appearances.
Mixx - at 19 I was 6'2", 125 lbs. really skinny, but wiry skinny, not thin skinny. I was a rock climber, with long muscles, and skinny muscular legs and a 29" waist. Evenso, I got a great lover who was 28 and taught me everything I wanted to know about sex. She noticed that i had a very flexible body when she saw me dancing and knew i would be good in bed. Many years later, I am still thin and muscular, but 190 lbs. - some call me a hunk for my age. Don't fret your thinness - you will develop your body like i did, and the guys your age who are now hunks will be fat and bald by the time they are 40.
Dang! You sound just like me when I was your age. Back then I was 5'7" and about 115-120. Now I'm 42 and 156. It starts to change around age 35. But really the best thing you could do is get on a good workout program. Here's a good place to look for one: www.askmen.com. You'll probably be a "hard gainer" in that you likely won't get huge, but a guy like you -- and what I was like then -- will get ripped if you work out and supplement some with whey proteins. The chicks will dig your Fight Club body. It's hard where you are now to understand and enjoy being built like that, but I know I sure miss being able to run like I used to. Don't obsess on it and try to enjoy your life more!!!
Your are 19...you will develop muscle tone with all probability. That is just a 19 year old male. If you did not the would you really want to be with a woman who that mattered to? I hope not.
Even really skinny people can put on weight if they really work at it. Me, personally, I put bulk out and thin out really fast depending on what I'm doing... I'm usually around 175 after a long summer of 12 hour days in the bush... By the begininning of summer I tend to hover around 195.
I jus get scared they'll snap! I mean you go to hug someone and end up breaking them in half - they'll love you then! Course it would never happen in real life but don't stop you thinking it. And what kinda girl takes her top off over the internet!!!
the kinda girl who enjoys showing what she's got. don't worry about the skinny guys...they won't snap.
I think that the perfect body for a man is John Lennon late in his life...he stayed between 130 and 140, I think...but then he was practically anorexic. So if you can be that way naturally...THAT's sexy!
It's not you, dude. It is how others are brainwashed in thinking you have to look like you are this perfect guy or girl. I mean come on..all they show on tv (mags too), dude, is others that have had their body done. Then try to sell ya a workout plan to look like they do. Have you tried going to the gym and workout? Just don't try to be perfect because no one is, and don't dwell on trying to be. You are young. As you get older you will gain more than you want, and it won't be in the areas you want, so why fight it, dude. You know what Judge Judy says, don't ya? Beauty fades..domb is ever.
You dont need to gain weight by gaining fat, that will be a pity for your health, just train your muscles, they will gtow on their own and get you the firgure you are after. I have a brother who is very skinny too, and thats because he works real hard under the sun, making highways and handling those huge drills. But he gots lots of muscles (that comes with that kind of work) and he has never been to a gym in his life! He has never trained. He got enough from work! So just train your upper muscles with weight and that kind and it will shape your body in a better way. About the girl that block you for being skinny without a word?: dont worry, you didnt lose anything, when one is that cold and dumb and careless, it was best for you anyway. I hope that helped you.
any of you? what do you mean by that? whom "you"????? if its about me then no i dont have any kids, but waht a question is that? You know hte answer to it. and what has this to do with the matter at hand? and what made you think that all the sudden? you are weird Riggs.. why dont you ask me htat kind, oyu know, in privy or in a thread..related.. dont see what the problem is anyway to talk things like that in privy, maybe you should ask oyur doc about your anxiety, who is more like a discrinminatoric one as it doesnt apply when its with another one.. who of course do nto want other to can see what she is realy doing to you, meaning whom she really is, and therefor keep the brainwash in pm.. Dead borring. same old dread as last..
Nothing wrong with being a skinny guy! I'm 6ft 2 and 10 stone (140lb) and you can see my ribcage etc but I really like the way my body is and feel extremely confident in it. Shit, all the girls I've been out with over the years have really liked it, never been told it's a turn off, more of a turn on And like someone else said, if you're 'too skinny' for her then you probably don't want to be with her anyway. I don't have an eating disorder or anything but sometimes go for a day or two without food. Other times I'll eat the most ridiculous amounts, it's just individual metabolisms. Some people are naturally skinny. Be proud! lol
