Graffiti love it or hate it.I am a writer in a crew we have a few pictures on one site we aew rocking milton keynes and the south east track side.So love graff or hate graff.
It depends the message being conveid Like, if its some sort of gang thing, or advocates violence then i dont like it at all, but if it has a nice message to it, for example earlier this week i saw that someone had done graffitti on a wall in my friends neighborgood, and it had a peace sign, and said "Where's the love?" and it was by far the best thing ive seen all week
Judge for yourself i will give you the website and tag name we use to save time this stuff we do is pure art.USN stands for unstopable nature posse.
If it's actual graffitti, then I'm fine with it. But the whole city is covered with lame tags promoting their dumbass crews(they're all high school thugs) and they spend all their day in school practicing their tags with a ball point pen on college ruled paper. It's like "No dude. You're the 500th person in L.A. with the tagger name BLAZE. You're not original."
I totally agree we bomb railway bridges and trains. It is very well planned and good art.I am sick of toys trying to get in on this game and giving graffiti a bad name.I always say why would you want to look at a blank wall with no art.But i would rather look at a blank wall then have some toy deface it.
I agree with superhobo. I love non-gang related graffiti. Like I LOVE how it looks. It is art. Under a bridge is wonderful when your walking under 1 in chicago. Has anyone seen those bridges the lift up? The ones for boats. I have seen graffiti in chicago under those and it makes me wonder HOW THE FCK those people did that lol.
With a lot of guts and scaffolding i have struck a gas tower in london it is famous for how the fuck did they get up there it was sligh it was planned and it was clever.
I'm currently in possesion of the largest collection of Vancouver Graffiti in the world i'm asuming, I used to run the website 604hiphop.com, which archived it all i have a very bleak outlook on graffiti artists, if u cant paint, you arent an artists i dont care how "crazy" shit u have in your art book, i dont care what u can do with a pen, if u cant paint, your nothing there is a HUGE difference between graffiti and Vanadlism, the majority of the people out there are nothing more then vandals, tagging with pathetic handstyles, never use paint but only paint pens or markels to be honest, although I love it, it's too filled with dirtballs for me tommarow i'll post up my favorite Vancouver peice of all time, it's a tribute peice to jam master jay.
