Listen to Children of December. I friggin love this song--not only the melodical portion, but... well, Christmas birthdays blow hard.

I'm probably seeing them tonight. The rhythm guitar/bass blending reminds me of a strange combination of Bob Weir, Ryan Adams, Phil Lesh, and John Mayer. I hear quite a bit of John Lennon and Beatle influence. They were at Bonnaroo, as well, but I didn't know/see that, at the time.

All the parents of the children of December
    Have a clutch
'Cause their birthdays are the hardest to remember
    When you're born on Christmas
Or the day before new year's
They can sing out your birthday
    But but but nobody hears

Did you catch any of Bob Weir at Roo?

    I wasn't overly impressed...

Yeah, did you see him with Gov't Mule? I liked it alot--as he did Sugaree and Loser, which are two really good songs that he doesn't always do in his own sets with Ratdog.

Otherwise, I don't care for him if mule wasn't there. I'm a Leshhead.

Er, I'm going back to my roots, George.
I haven't used this Hip Account in ages.
I feel so little, only like 100-something posts. :(
But I've been here since December 2004, urgh.
I'm oldy, and moldy, and now bright and shiny!

You have interesting sig pics.

I remember back when you were still using that account.

I Need A Miracle... the closest that comes to that song is Lovelight.

Aha, no... that LSD sheet and whatnot.

    They're all very whimsical. :D

And I roll my eyes because no other emoticon is ever worthy enough.

That LSD sheet was stapled to a street lamp pole in downtown Toronto.

That sort of thing would never survive the beer-soaked Alabama!
