Why does a post count matter?

Since when are round numbers so imperative?

It's sad to see humanity celebrate milestones by something so trivial as math, a human invention.

21st birthday, 25th wedding anniversary, 10 year class reunion, living till 100..... it's all so pointless.

 

I think its cool because isnt 100 when you are a member not a guest??
thats a neat thing.

 

I'm neally up to 100 posts. is that why my sig is missing? cause I don't have 100 posts yet? I don't get it.

 

I guess round numbers remind us to stop and make some kind of summary of our past doings...It's not pointless.....

But I've always been a math prodigy. I just never liked it.
