Question/Husbands real father

OK I just have a quick question but first I kinda wanna explain this whole situation. A few months ago, my husband attempted to find his real dad and he had to call his mother to ask her something about where he used to live and she freaked out over it so he stopped looking. I knew he was upset so a while after that I picked up where he left off and now I know Ive found him but I dont know what to write to him. So what do I say? How do i begin a letter to him?

 

How about...
Dear Mr.*******, I am ****** I'm married to your son. My husband was trying to search you out, without luck.
Guess I'm better with a computer, so here I am. Thought I'd make the first contact with you to explain my husband is curious about his natural father. No other designs
beyond that.
Balls in your court, If you want to contact us our address is********* and phone is************.
If we don't hear from you I'll understand.
Sincerely,**********

As a father I could handle a letter like this that would give me the choice...

Introduce yourself, tell him why you wrote and tell him how his son feels and arrange a meeting if he doesn't have any violent reactions. Good luck.

 

Do you know why they broke up in the first place? Because if the dad was abusive or something, the mom might be trying to keep him away from a real schmuck.
