ok so i have a friend thats coming with me to tha gathering... she got a felony charge bout 3 or 4 yrs ago. and was put on probation but never actually went... is this gonna show up if they run her drivers liscence? should she not try to come... anyones insight would be wonderful cause, i dont wanna take her there and her not come back...
the leo's would love to find a person like that. there is a good chance they might stop and ask for an i.d. we were going to cali a couple years ago, and they just pulled us over to shake us down. they didnt have a good reason other than our bus was yellow. So all i can say is be smarter than they are. if she has to miss it that would be better than jail.
so i got another question do u think they issue warrants for ppl that havent been to probation and if they do, do u think they would at least send a letter showing u have a warrant?? i dont really know anything bout tha law cause i havent been n trouble b-4..
Perhaps your friend can call the Probation Office, and find out how much trouble s/he's in? I wouldn't count on the Probation office getting in touch... would probably take the position that it's your responsibility to follow court orders...If I had any doubt, I wouldn't take the risk. I can about guarantee that on at least one occasion, you'll be ass deep in cops.
If you go online in some states through the prison/parole board website you can do a prisoner search and it'll say the status of your friend. Ie. not in custody, absconded, under parole, etc. It's not the most accurate thing in the world but its a start.
