I've been suffering from chronic pain for the past decade (just left an intro post above). Been on and off pretty much everything, but LOVE the buzz from OC, so that's my DOC. After talking with some other opiophiles the other day, I gave in to IV'ing my meds...HOLY SHIT! does it work or what!?! I've lived in semi-comfort taking them as prescribed, but I've got to say, nothing, NOTHING even comes CLOSE to how I feel after I shoot my dose. Pain free and loving it! It's the 1st time I've not had pain for almost 10 years!!! Some people use opiates for recreational purposes/because it's fun. Hell, I will NEVER knock anyone for doing that, been there/done that, but I don't use because it's fun, I use because I have to. The pain is so bad some days, I want to just end my life. However, now that I learned how to IV, I've got a HUGE smile on my face. Well, that's my confession...I'm now shooting narcotics and w/o any regrets either. Peace--
Dude, that sucks, all that pain. It's great there's finally some relief. Don't know how you dealt with it that long. Hope life stays comfortable for you.

I'm sure I'll stumble across it sooner or later. When I googled, I saw this forum had an opiate section, but I lost the path... So, are you still a hippie or what? I'm almost the same age and LOVE to smoke pot still, especially the shit coming out of Amsterdam, Northern Lights, White Widow, etc...have you ever tried that type of weed? Man that stuff is good. I had a friend sending to me for a while, but after 9/11 we decided it was probably better to not push our luck any more! I always say...if marijuana ever gets legalized, I'm in a LOT of trouble! hehe... Stay cool, hippie dude...
