Basically Bush's attempt to grant amnesty to the 12 Million or so illegal immigrants fell through.

I am surprised myself, I mean this was a pretty liberal move on Bush's side and isn't the Senate now 51-49 in favor of the Dems??

I am personally for the bill because there's so many americans on welfare and in comparison to these hard working latino immigrants I personally think the 12 million most obese americans should be shipped off, no? I mean their worth is a lot less than the illegal immigrants, anyway.

    Opinions?

Be nice to get the undocumented on the payroll tax rolls.

We could use the contribution, even if its a little.

Be nice to disincentiveze employers blowing off payroll taxes.

Have you read the bill? I think there was a lot more to it than just granting 12 million immigrants work passes. Before you make judgements you should do some research as a bill might propose to do one thing but also contain a lot more crap that the media does not tell you about. Was this the bill that was also suppose to give the federal government the power over all Americans (not just immigrants) to approve who can and cannot work, or was that another one? It can get so confusing.

Well its pretty shitty that Bush wanted to basically hand over American citizenship to all illegals in the country. There are legal means to this; no one should be exempt.

My mom's been studying for the past two or three years to take the citizenship test and she's had to pay taxes since she came to and started working in the states in 1987. Why shouldn't the illegal immigrants currently in the country have to prepare for the test or have to pay back taxes in their entirety?

I still say the U.S. should just ship out the 12 million least valuable citizens, I'm sure that won't be a difficult task.

Considering that each of those 12 million weighs roughly about 500 pounds, that could actually be quite the challenge. :D

First of all, there are far more than 12 million illegals here. Stop believing the media's lies. There are well over 20 million people here, and probably close to 30 million if not more than that. The media always gives you a lower number because the media serves as a tool for the government to disseminate lies.

The bill would have been total amnesty for all illegals here, and would have paved the way for all their family members in Mexico to come here as well. I won't even get into all the loopholes contained in this bill, which would make the hardest of the hardcore gang members and child rapists legal.

Unfortunately, another bill like this will be put forward in the future, whether it's a year from now or three years. This is part of a long-term plan, and it will be implemented no matter what they have to do to get the Senate to pass it.

This all ties in with the North American Union and the plan to eviscerate the border between the US and Mexico, as well as the agenda to bankrupt America, lower the wages, and thus greatly lower the living standard.

This goes to the HIGHEST levels of government, and it actually goes beyond government as this is being pushed from the very top of the pyramid by the globalists and central banks who are pushing for this one world government.

Right so if you didn't get your 20-30 million-if not more than that figures from "the media", where did you get them?

A one world government would be economically and socially more positive than what the world is right now. So what are you getting at?

It's called unification, it's either that or humanity kills itself, I mean I prefer it if humanity killed itself but since I am not suicidal I'll just go along with the push for a one world system.

That's exactly what they want you to believe. Humanity won't kill itself! Where do you come up with such nonsense? Wars are waged by governments with agendas, not the general public, who for the most part want peace. The people pushing for this global government are the same people and same organizations that have been behind all wars since the first World War, who have used these wars to centralize power and create a standarized world order. If you believe that these global elitists want a world government because they want what's best for humanity, you are sorely mistaken and have a lot of homework to do before you become informed. This world government will be a totalitarian big brother world government, and we are already beginning to see this emerge. It will make George Orwell's 1984 seem like a fairy tale by comparison.

Maximus - What you said would be true if the underlying goals of control of the entire population weren't also what the governments are after.

Everyone should love and live together, but what the governments of the world are pushing is essentially a One World Prison

Yes, it will, everything ends and unless somehow some being with an agenda to destroy us come from billions of miles away, we are going to be the ones to destroy the earth and ourselves with it. My God man, it's simple logic.

Humans have existed for hundreds of thousands of years and they haven't killed themselves off, so what exactly is your basis for such a claim? How would a totalitarian world government save humanity from impending extinction?

What exactly makes you think that governments work for the good of the people?

I'm not saying anything would save humanity, simply prolong it.

What do you see as prolonging it? A global economy? That makes a lot of sense doesn't it? You believe Gore's film, without doing the research, you are one of the problems.

Pity the drownding polar bear, don't ever consider the plight of the poor working man.

I don't care about Gore's film, he lost to Bush, okay.

No, I believe that the only way humanity can perhaps get through this century is if the world is put under tight control, a global economic structure would do that, also the legalization of such products as cocaine.
