Do you do them? Whatcha think about them? Crack-fiend past? The smoking thread got me thinking... and I'm curious about drug usage, I have always been a great fan of drugs. I went through a rather extreme pothead stage, did lots of psychedelics at one point, a cocaine phase in high school, and all that good stuff. I have always loved drugs, I can't even pinpoint when I was first interested... but I remember, even when I was little, the idea of escape and mental enhancement was extremely appealing to me. I did have a lot to escape though... Haven't done drugs in a good 6 months now (other than a couple of joints back in January). Doesn't feel too bad, but I must admit that I miss them... I feel like I've lost a part of my creative inspiration without a good ganja habit.
If you do not really miss them then why would you do them again. You are talking to a head in the late 70's......never missed them but man had a good time at the time. Not sure of your head space on this one and it really does not matter in a way as the question you are asking is of you........no answer other than yours is going to matter.
Don't know if I can contribute very intelligently to this as my drug history is primarily marijuana but I get a kick out of so-called experts decrying the dangers of some substances (like pot) without having experienced them first hand.
lets see... i like drugs. i like smoking pot the most...though i dont' do it as much as i used to. i had to take a break.. when i took a break, i stopped drinking, smoking, and snorting pills for a good 3 months. i was developing a perc and oxy habit quickly and through a friends help, i caught it before it got too bad. but i've done coke a few times...its been fun. i've done salvia a good amount of times, been very interesting to look deep into myself been asked to take some E, have'nt done that yet. dunno if i will or not have some interest in shrooms, acid, and maybe some other things too
No, I don't do any. Well, I drink, but that's it. Back in the day, Mary Jane was a very close friend of mine, but we went our seperate ways. That's as much experience as I've had with drugs of any kind. Never tried anything else, never wanted to.
I do plenty of drugs. As long as a person is able to keep a balance in their life, then I see no problem with getting fukt up as hell, whenever the urge strikes:spliff: Back in high school, I would spend ALL of the money I had on weed/other drugs, because nothing else could hold my interest. I have since learned a little self control and realized that I have more important things to spend my money on. If I had millions of dollars though, I'd probably be stoned or tripping all the time.
I'm tempted to post a list of the drugs I've done, but everyone would probably think I was a freak or some shit. haha
Technically, everything that has potential to alter mood could be called a drug... that includes foods, sweets, etc...
I'm more curious than anything... plus, drug use says something about a person (and not something negative, in my opinion)... plus, I feel like I know some of the people that post here fairly well, and it'd just be interesting to know... I've always figuered that 95% of the people on this forum who are under the age of 25 do drugs, it just goes unsaid.
Now that is a broad assumption on your part......in my opinion, to support your statement rather than based upon fact. You have no basis on fact and instead are drawing on ummm your own premise for what ever. You have no basis on fact or even thoughts as the posts do not bear it out.
The greatest pharmaceutical factory in the world is the human brain, with it’s ability to produce any chemical compound in any composition and in any amount – if only we had mental control over it :H Hotwater
so like ... i don't give a dam what anybody else does to themselves, but, the only thing recreationaly empairing our judgement ever had to do with being hip, is that it was used to discredit what we were really all about which was peace, freedom and social justice. nothing wrong with passing arround a ritual toke but mellowness does not require nor depend on anesthasizing ourselves =^^= .../\...
I'm what Lou Reed called a "smorgasbord schmuck"... I'll take just about anything. for the past few months though, nothing but weed, booze, and occasional pharm.
Ironically enough, I'm listening to The Velvet Underground as we speak. But I'm always listening to them. Ma'am... there isn't enough evidence to support my hypothesis yet!
there may never be and that is just fine. I do not what ifs real well.........but think you are ok. Enjoy the music and life will unfold as it should.
