for some reason I thought of this kid's site last night, and to my surprise it still exists ten years since it was first put up! I thought it was really funny when I was 13, but now it's just way too creepy.

I actually did some research about it last night and it turns out that it was actually something of a popular phenomenon on the internet for awhile, and since he put his full name on the site people looked up his number and called his house, asking if he had a girlfriend, but since he forgot the password he couldn't take the site down. I even found the kid's myspace, and people still bring up the "hello my future girlfriend" thing.

exactly. the first time I saw it many years ago, I died laughing because this kid was more of a dork than I was. why did I respond like this? I don't know. this time I was just sort of spooked.

I just think it's interesting that some kid with a mullet who hasn't even hit puberty yet puts up some morbidly desperate page asking for a girlfriend which developed a small cult fanbase, and consequently becomes the subject of ridicule to people with far too much time on their hands.
