My heart is full of Alcohol My heart is full of Alcohol, And I’m about to fall. When I wake is when I scream, Because you only hold be in my dreams. I’ve told you time and time again, How I want you to be here my friend. You are gone and will be for long, That’s why Alcohol drowns our song. The only way to heal is to see you, And that not going to be soon my boo. Until then, Alcohol fills my heart, Until I’m almost torn apart.
nice, descriptive. i only have one correction, really: if you're going to rhyme, stick to it. "scream" and "dreams" don't rhyme, it would work if you just said "dream" though. nor do "again" and "friend", not really. but other than that it's really nice.
dreams are the great free internet that everyone is plugged into. and sometimes that is the only place where life allows true lovers. =^^= .../\...
"Rarely have we seen a person fail who has thoroughly followed our path..." -- Bill Wilson, co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous (in Chapter 5, "How it Works", of the book "Alcoholics Anonymous") If you want to drink, that's your business. If you want to stop drinking, that's our business. We're only a phone call away.
i really like it...dreams are where we go to be who we want and to be with who we want and i like that you showed that not many poets describe that reality we have in dreams
Jack Daniels makes me sloppy, Jack Daniels makes me happy, Wine coolers make me angry, Lemmon margeritas make pukie, but still my guitar, gently weeps. haha, this was good, makes me wanna get loaded and rip out some more riffs, but I'm beat. Good Write, Peace.
I'm really amazed that a 14-year-old could come up with that! Excellent work Flannelwearin'gal! It reminds me of Donovan's song, "Codine."
