do these make anyone else not sleep well the night before and kind of sick to you stomach...I hate being proded at by some strange person in rubber gloves. (ps couldnt desided if this was a womens issue or a whinning thing so i put it here.)
I don't enjoy it or anything, but it doesn't make me lose sleep. It's just a doctor, just making sure I'm in working order... I'd rather go get my crotch prodded around in, than go to the dentist, or get a strep throat test that makes me gag uncontrollably. That's just me.
meh, just a doctor, just a short appointment. its only truly unpleasant when they whip out the lube and use too much of it, that shit does not clean up well. but im fine with doctors and verging on phobic with dentists, id much rather my doctor popped on some gloves and the speculum than go see my dentist
I don't lose sleep over it, but I definitely don't look forward to it. In fact, I'm three years past my yearly exam. Bad me, I know. I kind of fell off the band wagon after I had my twins. :& However, I'm with the other ladies, I'd rather go to the OB/GYN than the dentist. *shudders* It will be okay. You'll probably wonder why you lost sleep after it once it's done and over with.
imaginepeace I'm with you. Having someone probe around down there makes me feel so violated. It's so clinical when I'm there and any other time it's personal and soft.
as long as it`s not past the vagina i`m ok. i am extremely squeamish about all those in-bits. to the point of vomiting. when having IUD put in i was totally freaked out about having something in me there all the time. and then i went through Hell for a week after. couldn`t get out of bed, was moaning all the time with intense discomfort (was like around all of me was very sick). no pain killers or anything ever help with me (although it wasn`t just pain).
I don't mind gyno appointments that much. It's unpleasant but at least it doesn't hurt or involve scary sounds (unlike dentist's appointments!! ).
my gyno was a band mother when i was in highschool.. talk about wierd.. she talks to me about band, and highschool.
lol that would be kinda weird ^ i dont really care about having my girly parts examined, but i will do anything to avoid the dentist. whenever i go, theres always some new problem with my teeth. so as if the appt isnt unpleasant enough, i get to look forward to another filling or something. i get these gum line cavities, like a few per year, that are pretty much unavoidable and such a bitch for them to fill.
whats even weirder?! what if you had a guy doctor looking at you jj? oh and my gyno came into my work yesterday...AWKWARD, but luckyly shes nice
