...until I embark upon my first trip to Amsterdam. (How weird, as I wrote 'Amsterdam' it was sung in the clash song complete control playing right now.) I have browsed this forum for a few months and thought I'd join in. Anyway, I simply cannot wait, but I have some q's it would be cool if someone could answer. Me and my friends are staying at 'the globe' hostel in the big dorms. Has anyone has experience of this hostel, is it any good, is it safe etc.? Main thing i'm worried about is getting stuff robbed. Does amsterdam offer milder weed? Out of the 6 of us going, I barely smoke it and don't want to through a whitey in a matter of seconds. How expensive is beer from bars? Also if we get cases of beer what are the chances of our hostel being sound with us chilling with some beers in our dorm? Finally whats the deal with duty free flying to amsterdam? Because I would love a huge quantity of cheap rolling tobacco Cheers for the help, Dave x
