That's better than me. I watch the news from time to time... not to become "informed," but to hear what kind of propaganda is being churned out.
i was without any means of getting information from the outside world for about a year and a half. other than a dozen or so newspapers i bought during that time i was without any news whatsoever. now i sometimes watch the daily show, so i'm much more informed than i was during that time...
The real news is too depressing. I started to watch the Daily Show lately, and it's always good for a few good lolz.
hahaha, when did paris get out of jail? i must have been watching too much democracy now! Dammit. not really.haha
I did that for a year once during the O J Simpson Trial After a year of watching BET News not only did I believe O J Simpson was innocent, but he was possibly the reincarnation of Jesus Christ Hotwater
I shall pretend my opinion matters here and vote the second and third. Independent sources often prove reliable but it's useful to know how the rest of the pathetic herd is being brainwashed. Did that make any sense?
untill the political climate chainges for the better at all levels, i seriously don't think you're missing anything. infotainment isn't telling anyone anything useful anyway. to the contrary it is an excuse for refusing to. along with whatever misinformation is convenient to economic interests. none of which are of any real use to any known life form. =^^= .../\...
When I lived in America (for about a year) I was amazed at how little news there was it was the same few nuggets and opinions circulated for months before being changed, In Europe we suffer from so much news that we get lost in detail. I do think that people outside America have better access to news about the USA then the people who live there. quite disturbing
