i have to aggree with hotwater. sometime after i'm long gone it may or may not.

well the next time i'm born, live and die, will extremely not likely be on this earth anyway.

The Maya says it will be in 2012, but thats when they calendar end, following venus cycles, what will happen is a big change, a new cycle of consciousness which we are entering right now this year, as Pluto ha first begin to align with the center of the galaxy we are part of, as all planet will do and wil be all align with this center in 2012.
And then the new calendar can be calculated again as it was once done by tha Mayan.
THis conjunction is very special as it happen only once every 5000 years.
So we are to be realigned once again, zero in, not destroyed.
We are going to renew ourself, and renewal seldom occur in one day, but htey do begin with some drastic chnage, some noticeable ones, and we will know about those before even reaching then as the influence will intensify, the nearer we come to that total conjunction of all planets aligned with the center of our galaxy.
When there is such an alignement of all planet with the sun, it is also a phenomenon, but with the center of our galaxy and the sun and all planets of the solar system, that means something.
God created the stars and the planets and the universe we are in, and its functionement obey to divine rules, nothing happen for no reson, all has a meaning, and that kind of thing has a very deep and rare and important meaning, who announce a very thorougly and positiv changes for us all.
We are not going down but up.
We are awakening. And the world around us, what we will discover, will made us do so, have us forced to do so, by chnging the way we see and understand the world we are into.

what does seem statisticly improbbable, is that the next time we are born into a tangable material world, is for it to be the same one we are living in now.

there are billions of worlds out there in the rest of the universe, and what makes it any more likely that the next time we crawl/are squized, what have you, out of some kind of womb, that it will be on any one of them with the conditions for some sort of life, then on any one of them, any more then any other of them? absolutely nothing that i can see.
