Today is the third anniversary of the death of Michael Houser...For those of you whose life he had an impact on, let's celebrate his life and his amazing music today..and if you've never listened to this man play, you should...email me, and i'll send you some shows!!! His music can do so many things to a person...When things are bad, i put on some Panic, and try to foget about everything..i get lost in the notes and the sound. He was such a strong person, he played for his fans and his band members up until he couldn't play any longer..He makes me believe that i can do anything i want to..it's crazy how much the music of one man can speak to you...it can bring a smile to my face, make me dance, bring back memories, and make me cry... it can give me energy, can help me sleep, can calm me down, and make me feel spiritual, but it also makes me soo mad because he's not here anymore...it can make me creative, or it can steal my mind where i dont relaly have any thoughts at all..not THAT is a good musician..one that can evoke all of those feelings just through a few songs...

"Tell me brother, can you see the sun, from where you're standing now?"

Mikey was a true gentleman. He was alway kind to the heads who surrounded him, grateful that music was his life and his livelihood.
Even when in great pain, he was a Southern gentleman to the end.

Saw Michael and WSP many time and each time I was just shocked at how good he was and played sitting down. I'm glad to see Jimmy Herring has stepped and is doing a wonderful job
