Yep. Earlier today, the Teachers Union met to vote on wether to allow the Teamsters union local to take over control of thier barganing tables. I'll get some links in here so you can check yourself.
I'm a big fan of unions, so it seems like a good idea to me. Teachers don't get nearly the prestige and pay they deserve for their thankless job. This does assume, of course, they do something to weed out the unworthy teachers and recruit more skilled ones... Any thoughts?
