i never got into downloading music because of the whole virus thing, but seeing I'm starting to get tired of the whooping 10cds i have (i don't have enough spare change to buy cds like i want to) radio is always good, but they always seem to play the same songs, and never classics(maybe its just the station I'm listening too?) so my question is, is there any recommended programs out there? i hear limewire is not bad, but i only got Norton and ad-aware because no one told me Norton sucks , so im worried about viruses... i heard azureus isn't bad, but torrents seem kind of hard to use. please help me out here.
Yeah, limewire and most other peer to peer share programs will get your computer infected if you're not careful. I use this similar program: http://www.slsknet.org/, it's spywarefree and I never got a computerinfection from it. Besided that, it's the best thing to find any kind of album, although you need some patience and cunning to find the rare ones. But they are shared! I heard the torrent thing is a good way to download music as well, but I'm not into that. I'm used to these kind of programs and soulseek works best in my opinion.
my friend is saying as long as i scan everything before i download i should be fine, i only got norton so i'm hoping it will do its job for this.
If you guys pay me and I can get you any album you want for $1 thru paypal. Ofcourse you will only get the link to download it. =)
okay. look. hardly nobody knows about this. but theres another free download place. frostwire.com and its the same as limewire but without the risks. and if you already have limewire and you have a bunch of songs downloaded... they'll get transfered to frostwire. i dont have it, i have limewire, but i've heard about it...
