Which do you prefer, Indica or Sativa?

Given a choice, which would you pick, Indica or Sativa?

 

Indica, definitley But then again, I dont smoke too often, this could be why

 

Sativa hands down

 

i don't know the difference!

but this could be partially due to the fact that there was never a time when i actually knew what i was smoking

just as long as it got me to where i wanted to be

then sativa. i love the feeling of not being able to think and speak proper english ahah but i like still being able to move!

 

Sorry, I should have added this earlier.
Sativa will produce a strong ceberal high or Head High.
Indica will give more of a body stone. Some compare it to a narcotic painkiller.

 

Depends on the situation. Usually when i'm out with people I want Sativa. When I'm in for the night and I want to relax, then I prefer Indica.

I know what type of high a certain weed will produce after I smoke it, obviosuly, but can you tell before you smoke it?

As to knowing before you smoke.... If you know and trust the grower (or if you are the grower), you will likely know.

Or, if you visit some of the better coffee shops in Holland, you will probably get good info on what you are buying.

Other than that, it's a coin toss. Smoking it to see is the best way I guess.

 

savita has smaller leaves and is lighter and indica is bigger leaves and darker if i remember
i prefer savita now that ive exeperienced alot with indica
i like thinking and talking and generally observing things now when im high so id prefer savita

 

during my most recent trip to amsterdam (Jam in the Dam 07 - fucking awesome!) I only purchased 2 kinds of indicas (strawberry and reclining buddha, as i recall.....somehow) - the rest were all sativas. and that was during 6 days or so.

since you have the choice of buying stuff off a menu and asking questions about it and seeing it beforehand, you can specify the kind of high you want. when travelling, the last thing i want is to be locked to my seat and not wanting to move. i wanna go see and do shit! while really, really high, too!

so yeah..... the luxury of the option is the way to go, to be able to choose how you want to get high. sativas are nice for certain things and so are indicas... but let´s not forget about Ruderalis! a pure ruderalis strain isnt very psychoactive, i guess, but when crossed with an indica, it becomes a lot more potent. some of the best weed i´ve ever had was Ruderalis in the US. not even anything that i´ve tried from the netherlands has surpassed it. but then again, it´s always hard to judge.

 

i will always be an indica fan!!!!

 

I can't really tell the difference until I feel the buzz of whatever it is I've just smoked.

i dont really know much about the biology, such as which is which??? I just like a really fucking strong bag of bud. one of those thats got a buzz that hits you like a ton of bricks.

Well, i would definately say i love a heavy indica. It's great, i absolutely love the body highs.

 

I find sativa to be more uplifting and it makes me want to hike, climb a tree or play guitar. Indica I just sit and dont do anything

Indica turns people into the type of stoner you see on those anti-pot commercials. The kind who sit on Petes couch for 12 hours lol.

One time I was hanging out with my friend Chris in his basement, with like 7 other people. Before the bag arrived we were playin pool, foosball, a couple kids were hittin the punching bag, some of us were drawing on this table that has become a mural of-sorts, a kid was playing guitar while another pounded out a drum beat etc etc. When the bag arrived and we all toked, everyone was just sitting in their chair or on a couch, staring at the walls listening to music. Indica is a personality killer, its like all those people I was having fun with turned into zombies for a few hours.

And that, is precisely why I hate it.
