Lawrence Sanders is a fine writing. Any of the 4 Deadly Sins or any of the McNally series are just outstanding. During the McNally series Sanders died so Vincent Lardo stepped in to write a few. He did okay! Really any book written by Lawrence Sanders is a fine read. One of the Deadly Sins, I believe The First Deadly Sin was made into a movie starring Frank Sinatra who played Edward X. Delaney.
I loved the Deadly Sins books, if only for the descriptions of the sandwiches that Delaney ate over the sink. The McNally's were ok, but I guess I got attached to Delaney.
