I'm Christian and I have never thought about it that way. I'll have to go back to Genesis some time and read about that and think about it but it does make sense to what I remember about the story. However as Christian's we don't follow Judaism and the whole Satan and tree story is more of a Judiasm story and all. Even in the book of Proverbs King Solomon (who's supposed to be one of God's favorite people) encouraged independent thinking and that's the main theme throughout the whole book.
I agree with you. As a person who does have faith in the afterlife and considers herself Christian I try not to see the world through just my faith but to keep an open mind about everything and I think that helps more than anything else with making decisions about things. And you're correct about Santaism. From what I understand being a Satanist is the whole "live and let live" belief. That you can live your life how you want with no consequences and it's your choice to make. I'm not sure though if people who consider themselves Satanists actually follow someone who considers themself Satan/Lucifer. Pagans and wiccans are often called Satanist even though they have nothing to do with Satan. I think even the black magick pagans and wiccans have nothing to do with him but of course I'm not a part of that so I could be wrong. Personally I think people like Mr. Jones and others I know in this lifetime give Satan way too much thought and power. At my church this guy was talking in a class I was at about a mission trip he recently took and talked about the evil power of Satan being involved in the mission work because people weren't automatically jumping on the bandwagon he was bringing with his group. That's not Satan. That's freewill. I think people need to seriously learn the difference.
To tell you the truth, Alex's radio show is secular for the most part, and just because you have not yet accepted that occultic religions often appear in the elite echelons of society, does not mean that it is not true. It took months for me to even look at the evidence for this let alone accept it. I will tell you that there is quite enough evidence out there to tie in occultism or satanism with much of the elite. Alex is not making these things up so much as he is trying to explain things, his main problem is that his documentaries only focus on one point of view, wether it be true or not, it feels propagandized. I think Jones goes for alarm a bit too much, but he is all and all a wickedly creative fucking amazing radio personality spittin out his firebrand rhetoric not unlike a dragon breathing fire.
You would think a man doing this much research into the governments deceptions would eventually come across the fact that christianity is a reinvention of much older myths based on early forms of paganism. http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com. That being said, the Bible does contain alot of valid spiritual teachings, but you wont necessarily recieve them in church, you must have the right eyes to see them. Anyway, This is kind of making me lean towards the idea thats theres alot of disinformation in what he says, although, as has been said there is alot of good info there too.
Yeah exactly Nalencer, you seem to be one of the intelligent ones here. Christianity is a large part of the grand deception set in motion in ancient times.
But it's not just Christianity. It's all the religions. All the religions were forged by the same international priesthoods, and that's why all contain the same undelying symbolism to which there is both an exoteric and esoteric meaning for. The exoteric is for the masses, while the esoteric is for those in the know, who gave the masses these exoteric religions in order to create conflict and exercise control. Every religion follows nearly the exact same story, but is veiled in allegory. It's not limited to just Christianity.
No its obviously not just christianity, but to me some religions seem to offer alot better ways to going about communing with the divine such a buddhism, In my opinion there is at least a shred of legitimacy here. Although i can see how buddha could be described as a saviour, and did supposedly join the world through a virgin birth according to zeitgeist. So i guess im asking if you feel that Buddha is a solar messiah, and if you feel that Buddhism is neccesarily repressive, Pressed Rat?
All the religions are repressive because they set a pre-determined path for its followers, telling them if you only do this you will achieve that. It's the same with ALL religions, including the New Age religion. There is not a single religion that's designed to liberate or deliver truth to its followers, only mislead them.
I'm fully aware that it's the same with all reigions. I just singled out Christianity because of Alex Jones.
The scary thing is, what if they are right and we are just reincarnated versions of the same souls. They continue to rule. Most continue to live without questioning. rinse repeat. How much do they know about life after death and death and that sort, I wonder. To me, that is the scariest part. That there knowledge extends past this life. hmm.
