I'm sort of a psychedelic n3wb, but I have tried Salvia a couple of times now and I really enjoy it. My last trip I was being pulled off the roof of this building in the mountains in a burlap sack by what appeared to be gremlins. I was just wondering how long I should wait between trips. I have been told that repeated use makes it take a lot more salvia to get the same effects. Anyone with experience know if this is true?
From what I have heard it is backwards. It is actually quite hard to form a tolerance to Salvia. This information came from past posts and what not so I am just throwing that out there.
yeah ive been smoking it on a more regular basis now like once a week or so, and something i realized is that when i first started it it only took about half as much as i use now to actually break through. I say this because the last time i actually broke through was like a year ago, and i remember very well what it was like, i felt like i was completely insane and everything confused my mind not knowing where when who i was not knowing who i was with (i was by myself). But recently i have been trying to achieve that state of mind again because its just so amazing, so i smoked exactly as much as i did that 1 time and i diddnt break through. I did get the basic effects, my mind changes the way it thinks, etc, but i diddnt break through because i was still in my house, not in salvia land. So my point is that salvia might have long term tolerance or something, because once you have your 1st major trip, you will need alot more next time to feel the same things.
^ I agree, my tolerance went up after frequent use. after awhile I lost interest in using so often -- most people report the same anti-addictive pattern. Take Salvia only when you feel drawn to it. If i had it to do over again I'd limit my trips to once a week at the most.
