My mp3 player died 2 days ago. Damn Ipod rip-off. It was dominated by Belle & Sebastian, Lou Reed, Roxy Music, The Pixies, The Dandy Warhols, some Russian rock, and Modest Mouse though.
I was deleting songs off it, and then it suddenly tells me that there are no songs left at all (when there were like at least a thousand left... I only deleted a folder). It doesn't let me access it when I try to do it through the computer... saying that the folder is corrupt. It doesn't want to format through the player, it doesn't want to format through the computer. It has FM radio which still works though... I'm sure that there must be some kind of a way to fix it... but the damn Asian people who sold it to me barely speak English...so their e-mail didn't help much. I'm thinking about throwing it against the wall a couple of times, might help.
At the moment... The Beatles The Rolling Stones The Rascals The Doors Strawberry Alarm Clock Ringo Starr John Lennon George Harrison Beethoven Gnarls Barkley etc. I haven't added anything to it for a while.
what's an mp3 PLAYER? my music is on my hd. all 53hours worth of it. most of which is backed up on my system backup dvd's that i make every two or three months. my audio files are a mixture of mp3, wav and midi. some of which were origeonally obb verbus that i converted with audacity and a helper plug in for it. i don't have anything that plays cd's or mp3's outside of the computer itself. and that only on my current main one. the old one you see in the picture, the old 95 machine i used for then years, never even had a sound card and i just never got arround to getting one for it. but since this one came with one, i've collected what i could find that was ligetimately free of the kind of sounds i like to listen to, not all of which are entirely songs or even music as such. i've also got some train sounds, sounds from nature, sound effects, and some rather interesting odder things, that come up randomly that i listen to. a complete dump of the list would probable be bigger then maximum post size, if i knew how to generate one off hand which at the moment i don't. oh i've also got a small collection of video files, a very small collection, almost half of which are my own animations, in rather bulky avi and gif format. though some of the freebee one's i've found are mp3's. these tend to be of trains, and or animation tutorials, and a few short clips from a couple of furry conventions. (i did upload one very short example to you-tube once upon a time, but with my dial up it takes just as long to upload as down so that was the first last and only time i did that. i'm not sure how you'd find it on there, except that my name there, like here, and everywhere else, is still themnax. that one happens to be silent though.) =^^= .../\...
Excuse me mister Can't you see the children dying? You say that you can't help them, mister you're not even trying. Excuse me mister Just take a look around. Oh, mister just look up and you will, You'll see it's coming down. Oh, excuse me mister but I'm, I'm a mister too. And you're givin' mister a bad name, mister like you. So, I'm taking the mister from out in front of your name, 'cause it's a mister like you that puts the rest of us to shame. it's a mister like you, puts the rest of us to shame.

Haha, I'm surprised everyones lists are so small. My iPod has at least 200+ artists, and right now around 7,600 songs. Way too many to list, the majority of it is indie rock/pop, folk, blues, alt-country, lo-fi pop, classic rock, and hardcore.
