Well.. my dreadies 1st birthday is coming up soon! July 28th.. and I CANN'T wait! i'm having a party with my friend who's dreadies b-day is also around the same time.. and i'm also having each of my good friends contribute a lilll someffin to my locks. it should be fun./ But anywayss..I was wondering if anyone with atleast maybe 1 year old dreads.. or any days or months old.. i guess it doesnt matter.. it's just weird because sometimes i have a dream that i brushed all my hair and straightened it with a straightning thing (which i would hate/never do because i never liked straight hair on myself and i love my dreadies dearly..) and then ..in my dream.. i started to cry because i had felt like i lost everything.. my dreads. then i'll wake up and grab my hair and see if its still dreaded and i get this BIG feeling of relief and i feel like i love and care about my dreads more then. i just find it weird that i would be having these dreams..? has anyone else experienced this? orrr know what it means..?-if it does. okay! peace and luvvivivinn. --Lizzy oh and i will put up pictures on their 1st b-day when the time comes!
Dude! Congrats on having them for a year! I totally have sympathy for you about these dreams. I actually had to take my dreads out after only having them for a month and a half because my work fired me over the dreads, and then nobody would hire me, so now I have no dreads and no job :[ It is not a good thing. I am so sad now because I miss them dearly, and every day I say over and over again how sweet my dreads would be right now if I hadn't had to take them out. It was really disappointing having to take them out after I put so much time into them, and because I cared about them so much and loved them to death! My mother promised me that she'd help me re-dread as soon as I start college in the fall and I find another job where they won't care if I have dreads or not, and I am so excited that I can put them back in, but it is a bummer I have to wait so long and whatnot. Anyway, Don't worry! Your dreads won't just disappear because of your dreams.

yeah, I have those dreams all the time. I keep dreaming that I'm doing something ordinary, talking to somebody, at school...and somebody mentions that I don't have dreads, and I reach up and they're gone.
