I really usually dont care about how quality the weed is as long as it gets me baked. But seeing the hairs always gets my excited. My dealer was getting this weed for a while that he didnt know the name of but was covered in red hairs so he called it the "Irish Pube Weed." So I smoked preatty much just irish pubes for a month or two...HAHA, pubes.
the pistils on a live plant are so beautiful...i could just look and smell and look and smell all day.
i think when weed is flowering, the hairs are white. but when the buds mature and get ready to harvest, the hairs begin to turn reddish/brown. and when they turn about 40% red and/or brown, that´s a good time to harvest. maybe it´s a different percentage, i kinda forget. but that´s the idea, I think. i´ve also heard from people that "hairs are never a good thing. any weed that´s good will NOT have hairs in it." well, I think that´s bullshit. i would assume that they´re talking about beasters or something, which could be pretty much ALL red hairs that make up the bulk of the bud, with some green leaves coming out. cause in that case, it´s a different story. that´s usually nothing too special. what i dont understand is how weed can be so bad sometimes, when it´s so easy to take care of it throughout the entire process. why produce bad weed when you can have GREAT weed? (money, i know) so i always "judge" the weed i come across based on how it was dried and cured, never b/c of its name or what it might be or whatever. good weed is good weed. if there are hairs on that good weed, then all the better.
