Hi everyone, since I have no shrooms in my area I decided to grow my own.

I was wondering the simplest cheapest way to grow them.

    Thanks.

    PF-Tek for sure.

Smaller, and weaker shrooms. But its fairly easy and cheap. If you have no experience, PF-Tek is the only way to go.

even easier is Zilla's brown rice (not flour) tek. This is what I use with excellent results. Good potent fruits and its about as simple as you can get. NO grinding rice or measuring ratios.

You don't really need a pressure cooker tbh, I just used a big pot with a lid and so far i had no contaminated jars...it's all in keeping your work area clean that is important. Also don't use bleach water cause it messes up paint and is harder on the eyes. sprays are much easyer and safer.

shroomery.org is a great place to research just look at there faq.

Just boiling the jars will work fine with brown rice flour, but he'll probably need to pressure cook if he ever uses whole grains instead.

If you're going to just boil them, then look into tyndallization. This might help somewhat: http://www.umsl.edu/~microbes/pdf/tyndallization.pdf
