I agree with you Hacker, but sometimes people just need to be told what is RIGHT when they are acting like idiots, making bad decisions (obvious ones) or hurting innocent people. If religion isn't the basis for butting in, but the love of humanity or what is right then I say more power to you for speaking up for what you believe in. I don't always agree with my friends or family and if I dont agree then I owe it to them to tell them why I feel the way I do, so they can make an informed decision. Opinions are like an assholes, we all have one.
because some people just think theyre worth it, that they know better than you and are goi ngto tell you that. difference is, you think you know better than them but are smart enough to shut your yap about ti. idiots talk whenever, clever folk speak when needed (imho at least)
Why do people ask questions like these on forums? Who cares unless you auctually worrie about them. Everyone is caught up in someone elses shit. Halirious
i really think its a cultural thing. the dominant culture is one that encourages thoughtlessness for the fun and profit of the few at the expense of the suffering of the many. =^^= .../\...
Ego is taught by society. We're not born with an "Identity" - we're taught one and molded into it by fear, religion, and "family values". Do some LSD with some intense meditation and you'll see just what I'm talking about
and how is this relevent? If someone horks on the sidewalk in front of me, I'm going to tell them that it was rude and disgusting no matter what particular religion I do not practice.
This thread gives me a chance to bitch about our oh-so-lovely neighbors who happen to be on the board of directors for this neighborhood (it's a private land-owners' association and whoooo, how impressive, half of it's trailor houses (not that I'm dogging on those, that's what we live in). Anyway, these people are royal shitheads. They bought the lot next to ours and regularly dump potentially toxic waste (from the drains at the carwash they own in town) and the other day, they were out there with their dogs, and their dogs got in our yard and starting chewing on our water hose and terrorizing the cats and pissing on our stuff. Daniel yelled at them to get their damn dogs out of our yard and stop dumping poison so close to our house. The husband, Mr. Second-In-Command (his **** wife is first, obviously), starts yelling about how Daniel's so worthless and should be grateful his parents let him live here and blah blah blah. Now the real kicker to the story is, their son is on disability, living with his grandma, tried to kill a girl at the age of 11, and Daniel's worse than that???? Aaaaauuuugggghhhh!!!!!!
Don't take it so personally, egocentricity is a philosophy. It’s the belief that the world revolves around you, and everyone else exists in support to serve you Hotwater
Are you kidding, you can shoot someone in Texas if the idea of trespassing even crosses their mind Hotwater
Technically, since it's private property, we could likely do whatever we pleased to trespassers. Even cops technically are required to park in the street and honk if they want to come onto the land, though I'm sure they have exceptions. Anyway, all I know is they'd better stay out of the yard and away from the house, cuz they might meet with ye ole pellet gun...wahahaha. I am nay a hippie when it comes to issues like snobs.
