Why isn't anyone doing anything about the government? And by anything I mean something that will make a difference. I don't mean voting, or protesting because it has been proven that neither of those things matter (don't get me wrong, I'm not telling people to stop doing either of those things). I'm asking why hasn't this nation come together and revolted against this so-called government yet? What is wrong with us? Obviously people are upset with how things are being handled (in all aspects of government not simply one or two issues) yet it seems as if everyone just goes about their daily lives. I really don't get it. Just wanted some other opinions I suppose. Even though I've been away from this forum for a while doesn't mean my conspiracy theories have died down any. I imagine this question has been asked more than a few times here, or at least I hope that people are asking this question of themselves. I just can't figure out why we are allowing this to happen.
Folks are too prone to being lazy and thinking the world will change on it's own or will change by prayer. They think their voice can change it though that aint even working as they surely know damn well they can see. I'm an anarchist/atheist/communist trying to get ppl to see we need to revolt by forming a 2 million man armed march to go and *blank* officials in government buildings such as courts and on up the ladder. Yep, to drive the country into anarchy by keeping it up with just about 40,000 revolutionists marching per state from the 2 million. We need to defend North America's freedom, liberty, and equality from this current U.S. regime. We need to make more liberty. We need to bring about the former U.S. There need to be more planning into this 2 million man armed march I say. So get the word out. But folks need to bear arms now to prepare first. If 40,000 marched on each government building of importants to this bullshit regime then there is nothing in the world the police can do to stop it. It would be sweet and swift. The blow would be like a 12 guage shotty to the U.S. War time!!!
People tend to support and protect a party or government that promises to protect their investments and jobs. This government hasn't. I don't know why? It's not a niave question, it's actually the main question. Perhaps because we've been raised on commercial spin and not educated to think for ourselves.
people have become too dependent on organized society to seriously challenge the gov't. for example, when people stopped growing their own food, they gave up an immense amount of control over their own lives. now they and their decendents are dependent on massive, complex transportation and distribution systems and money to feed themselves. the vast majority are wage slaves. people are also afraid of chaos and each other, and so feel a need for a big brother for protection. until the majority of the people under a gov't feel the pinch, you can expect the status quo to stay in place.
Society is just three meals away from chaos. People are only nice to eachother when their tummies are full, when they aren't they get angry. when a government is unable to provide for the bulk of their citizens (or even a relatively small minority), we have a revolution. it happened in france and russia. our own revolution is exempt because it was really just a schism between groups in the Aristocracy, rather than a populist uprising. the thing about revolutions, however, is that they tend to be extremely violent and you usually end up with factional governments that are far worse than the ones that were ousted. not that revolutions aren't neccessary, even inevitable, but if you think things are bad now, wait untill you're back to feudal vassalage.
Because if you revolt, or plan to revolt, you're officially a terrorist. Plus you'll get your ass mowed down by the U.S. army. It seems that eventually we'd get some well intentioned, intelligent, hard working people elected into office right? Or not...either way, just sit back and watch the world go down in flames. :H
Thanks everyone for your thoughts, they all make perfect sense, and some things I hadn't even thought about before. But I'm still at square one in my mind. So, would a "revolution" have to be violent? I'm going to be a cop in a year for Christ's sake I'm not trying to be a terrorist. I have trouble expressing myself on here, mainly because I'm very verbose in my writing and no one ever feels like reading it all and my ideas don't always come across the way I mean them. That is one of the reasons I've been away for so long. I'm just thinking that there has to be a point where Americans say enough is enough and we are not going to take it anymore (without breaking out into song ) Seriously, everyone that I have spoken with in the past few years just feels hopeless and they really are fed up, yet, in the next sentence they are worrying about what to make for dinner and picking up the dry cleaning. And yes, I do think that Americans have been brainwashed, I don't really want to go into that right now. And I do think they rely on the government too much. I just watch what is going on around me and I can't help but think, why don't we DO something. If 85% of the population (or whatever fake statistics they are pumping out these days) believes that this government is fucking us over, then why doesn't that 85% stop worrying about what the hell comes on prime time television and pay attention and do something. I don't know what to tell people to do. I'm not a leader in that sense and I haven't researched anything like this fully. I'm not saying I want anyone to be hurt or that I want to "overthrow" the government by force. I'm just saying the people are the ones who are supposed to have the power here, and in a sense I think we still do. I just think that no one knows what to do with it or how to use it. And a new president could come in but it won't make any difference. They are all the same. Nothing will change. I'm sorry guys I'm just frustrated.
Violence is never the answer. Americans did wake up during the last election, and if they don't buy into the hype of electing Hillary and getting Bill too, they will vote based on platform and performance. We all of us just need to keep asking the important questions, and demanding real answers not spin or sound bites.
The reason nothing changes is because people do not realize the system they're living under; that it's completely artificial, that their opinions are not their own, but rather are marketed to them through the media, and that they have no real choice other than for what they're given from the top. Already we have people in this thread throwing labels on themselves, and all of these labels were handed down to them, ultimately to mislead and confuse them and keep people divided. The fact is, there is no Left wing or Right wing, because both wings belong to the same bird. Even most of the people who know something is terribly wrong don't have a clue. They think that if they just vote the right person into office everything will be all right, when this system is totally controlled and manipulated by the few at the top for their agenda. Those who control the money, control virtually everything. For any real change to occur, people need to first look within themselves. Perhaps once people look within, they will be able to see the world around them with more clarity. In order for things to change, people need to stop joining teams and taking sides. They need to understand that it's not Right vs. Left or Republican vs. Democrat, but rather US vs. THEM.
It's not even that so much as demanding accountability. And not letting elected officials resort to executive priviledge. We have no inherent priviledges or rights why should they?
Right, Gardener, I agree that we need to not let these things happen. But that is my point. I don't think that there are many people left who agree with the decisions being made these days but again no one is doing anything. Yeah, comedians make fun of "washington" and people get on their soap boxes on tv for a few minutes. But none of that is making a difference. I also agree, Rat, that it is Us vs. Them. But now what. What do we do. I don't believe that voting matters. Like I said before, I am not telling people not to vote, I'm just saying that personally I don't see much point if they don't count anyway. Voting isn't the way to go because they are all the same. So what do we do now? Is there an answer or a solution?
Voting does matter if that's the only outlet you have. And votes do count, otherwise Bush and famly wouldn't have gone to the extremes they had to. Again, I say ask questions and demand answers. They can't spin everything forever, if we all ask the same questions.
Again, Bush isn't running anything. Bush was placed into office by his globalist superiors to fulfill a long-term agenda ala PNAC. Voting doesn't matter when you look at who owns the voting machines and companies like Diebold. It's like that quote from Stalin, where he said that those who cast the votes mean nothing, while those who count the votes mean everything. It's no different today.
