Had my first salvia experience this weekend

Hey, so this weekend we decided to try salvia for the first time. (It was not my first time tripping though was first time with salvia). Anyway, we went and got some 20x salvia from a bong shop in town, which was £25 for a gram. The strongest they had was 35x for £30, but we decided on the 20 as none of us had actually tried it yet and friends had told us of their experiences and said 20 would be ideal.

So we got back, had some spliffs, and I ended up having the first salvia bong as others were a bit hesitant lol. I can't say it was a positive experience, but it was definitely worth it. I filled the dish of my bong nicely with salvia, creamed it up for a while, then obviously had my toke and held it all in.

After about 8 seconds nothing had happened yet and everyone was watching with curiosity, I thought shit maybe it's not gonna work, then suddenly the room and all my surroundings started rising, and I couldn't stop myself from sinking back rigidly against the sofa as if something was pulling me back with extreme force. As I did this the room and everyone's faces just started moving further and further away, and before I knew it everything was gone and my whole body was being pulled backwards with extreme speed through a tunnel, and everything was bright blue like i was in a vortex or something. This might sound bizarre, but I could actually feel the wind on my skin - it was so hard that my whole body was burning from the force of me being dragged backwards at such speed and I was paralyzed. I must say it was really unpleasant and I felt terrified. During all of this I was reaching out and stretching really hard, trying to get back. After [what I thought was] about 20 seconds of being pulled through this torturous journey I began to travel forward. As I came nearer I began to see the room again through a crack in the blue, and as I got near enough I started to get pushed through it forcefully and emerged slowly back into the room. All the time I felt genuinely paralyzed and couldn't move any of my limbs, even when I started to see things clearly again like my friends faces. When it was as if I was fully through the gap my body stopped being stiff and I could move again, and I was back in the room, sitting on the sofa. I was sweating profusely and I didn't know wtf was going on. I started checking the sofa behind my back frantically still in terror of being sucked in, but obviously it was just the sofa lol. Everyone was around me laughing saying wtf! Hey can you hear us now?? and stuff. It took me a few minutes to register I had smoked salvia, and when I fully came to I was just like wow that was.... very strange. They said I had been sat in a non-responsive trance for about 4 minutes making hand gestures in the air and stuff, though the experience from start to end didn't feel like this long at all, more like 30 seconds max. Later that day I got amusement from watching my friends try it too, but those are other stories.

Anyway, I am glad to have had a salvia trip! The experience wasn't really enjoyable to be honest (in fact it was terrifying lol), but it was a good experience at the end of the day and I would do it again (just not for a while). Thanks for reading!
