Decided it was time for a new area in the woods since our old one had no solution for making a cheap roof do to the lack of trees.

So we started. a new area yesterday.

It our old 12' by 24' tarp

    and

Some couch we got free at a garage sale.

    that is awesome.
What would be quite cool (but also a bit weird) is if you went there to smoke and there were already some random people there smoking. Then you could join them for a stone off! haha
    Im talking shit...meh Im high..

The other area we have was deep in the woods and no one could find us.

This one is close to old people and the woods are thin. Ill make a picture with paint, one sec.

chill spots like that noise can usually be a problem as ppl hear you etc.

    but looks pretty chill otherwise

    yeah, thats true

rig up some trip lines with fishing wire tied to bells hidden in trees, put it pretty far away and around the whole perimter of your chill spot, so you've got an alarm and good enough time to book with your pals and your stash in the event that people or the 5-0 barge in on your session.

actually we thought of this. It is so close to everything but there are soooooo many escape routes. A creek runs through it, I now those woods like the back of my hands.

But yea DJ it is a good idea, but we only have to worry about the old people behind us in those condos. Those are still pretty far and we are never that far, not to mention those woods are owned by the home owners association.

yeah, make sure nobody sees you going in and out of the woods too, thats hella shady.

but i still recommend a trip wire. cuz booby-trapped forts own regular forts hands down.

gosh i remember when i used to live in a house that had a legitimate amount of "woods" behind it. Those were the days. Now I live in two cities, so like there's a shit load of tall trees in atlanta, but no real "woods" where I live because of the demand for housing. It's dang pretty where i live though, that's for sure.

but yeah make sure the couch is like under the tarp or something cuz if it rains.....wouldn't be too fun to sit on anymore.

well our old spot we had to worry about this. This one we don't because I have been going into the woods since I was 7 and no one cares.

Yea we pushed the couch under the tarp after the pic, since we noticed it wasnt under. It rained today lol.
