friends wedding in mid-august

just wondering what you guys think i should get for food at my friends wedding/reception meal. each sounds delcious though. its up in Lake Placid, NY

I voted steak, but, since I won't be there,
I'll just have to grill my own steak here.
And I don't have to spring for the plane ticket,
or the wedding gift!
Maybe I'll buy a couple extras to throw in the freezer.

Salmon sounds classy...

But it's hard to go wrong with steak.

What's up with this choosing a meal before a wedding deal as it is?

well, the drinking happens after the wedding and believe me, lots of drinking will happen

I still don't get this American wedding thing...

We just have a wedding... everyone gets drunk at the wedding... the wedding lasts until nightfall... and well, then everyone passes out.

 

well, thats what we had planned on doing for my other friends wedding...but they moved that wedding to 2 days before this wedding, and moved it to Las Vegas.

but i can't afford that and i dont' know any of my other friends making that wedding...though they are having another ceremony later

the vegetarians at my future sister-in-law's wedding has rice and veggie stir-fry.. it was yummy.
