sound proofing my room

    I love my sterieo but my parents don't, so i want to sound proof my room a bit so it doesn't bug them much. Any ideas on what to use/do ect.

    close the door.

    If you're really motivated, and equally poor, egg cartons do muffle sound a bit, as do hanging blankets on walls. Thankfully I've never had to do either.

    You could also buy soundproofing material...
