Orb Pics

I agree with ElChivato .

I do believe that some orbs are supernatural beings. And whenever i take pictures in my basement, i get orbs also. But, i do believe that the orbs in this picture are supernatural beings.

but if you can show me that they 100% aren't supernatural, im sticking with my gut and if you got a problem with it, do tell

Most people have hit the nail on the head with this one- most often "orbs" are simply dust on the lense, however I do believe there are exceptions.

I believe some orbs are real, because I have photographed one myself. And believe me, no flake of dust on my camera lens could explain a bright, glowing blue sphere, hovering in the treetops, when no flash was used, and all of our flashlights were turned off. Also note this was the ONLY orb I have ever photographed, and it just happens to appear when we are investigating the site of a trainwreck that killed/burned some 75 people alive. Also, using a digital voice recorder, we got a very clear EVP saying "hi" in a creepy ass voice when we asked what the spirits names are. It would be a FAR stretch to say that this is all coincidence.

However, in your case, yeah, it simply looks like dust to me. Again, that is not to say that the basement doesn't have any paranormal activity going on, just that I dont think you've caught any with those photographs. But, I could also be completely wrong, I'm no expert, and if you've used lense cleaner and they are still showing up, well then I have no clue... its either a very dusty basement or perhaps you are getting orbs.

I would try the EVP as suggested before. Take a digital voice recorder (preferably with a multi-directional mic, or with an input for an external mic) down there and start asking questions. Play it back and see if you got anything. Also, try leaving it down there for a couple hours, see if it picks up any chatter.

Also, feel for temp. changes. As you know, coldness MAY indicate a spirit presence. However, it could also be a draft, or breeze from an open/unsealed door or window. This is another basic of paranormal investigation, though I myself have never experienced a cold-spot, its probably worth a shot.

We took some outdoor pics in a cemetery at night. of the numerous pics we took, and several of each thing from the same place each time, there was only one pic that had significant orbs in it, and there were about 15. At the time we were taking pics from outside the cemetery because it was locked- no one inside stirring up dust. no wind or breeze. none of the other photos taken had this quantity of orbs. In fact only one other photo had 1 orb in it, and it was from a different area.

Care to explain?

 

Sure, INSECTS possibly or chuff or dust flying in from nearby fields.

 

It seems this thread has attracted alot of pissy people.
