What do you think will happen to the world if all the drug laws dissapeard? Do you think that there is a line you can cross on drug abuse, or do you think people should be allowed to take drugs till they kill them selfs?

well.... i think that complete legalization is a completely terrible idea. we have enough duis caused by alcohol in this country all we need is duis from weed and lsd. legalization would be great for users but its possible ramifications are too large to risk for actual implementation. drug laws should be thinned because murderers should spend more time than some addict trying to score some H (i live in nyc, we have the rockefellers) but complete legalization would be like opening a pandoras box

duis already happen with it and it is completely illegal
decriminalization is only to please the people who are against it, there's no reason to decriminalize and not make it straight out legal except for the politics of the whole deal

i feel like it would also be a bit of a disapointment for the simple fact that you're ALLOWED to do it.

That's the worst argument on earth and you know it. That's like saying that since murders still happen with murder illegal, we should just legalize it. If that was the reasoning behind even most decisions occurring in the legislative branch of our government there would be no point in having a legal system all together. I think you know where I'm going with this bit so I'll stop now and save you the lip service. Decriminalization and/or legalization of a severely imparing substance is like opening a Pandora's Box. We have the legal drinking age at 21 for the exact reason that alcohol is a dangerous impairing substance. (Although not directly linked, the reason the drinking age is higher is due to the fact that at 21, the human brain has developed many more inhibitions. Even purely logically speaking, it is smarter to limit the amount of people drinking to a group less likely to make stupid decisions not only for their own benefit but for the benefit of the citizens of our country).

My fingers are tired. I should stop typing.

There's way too many consequences to legalizing drugs because stupid people that dont know how to use them safely exist. That will always be and has always been the case.

I don't think it will be too bad if there are limits on how much you can get or lisences you have to get to use. Like a divers licence, you have to have one and insureance* to drive, maybe have something similar for different drugs or group of drugs ect.
