So, how are all you rt people doing?

I got back from a five day vacation camping at this state park that is in a very wooded area by the beach..... it was a huge place that was some kinda of old ww2 station- don't really know much about the history but the place was like a maze, with many old lighthouses, observation towers, amplitheatures.... the campsites were HUGE with lots of trees, which meant lots of bugs. We typically went to the more secluded beaches there and I have counted almost 100 bites on me from black flies. Them and the 100 degree weather made things a bit rough but it was a great time.

In a week or two I'll be returning for almost two weeks but shall be driving to a beach more towards a town so I don't have to deal with those flies.

Anyways how have you guys all been????

 

I got engaged

 

I'm not an official 'rt person', but i got fired today.

So i'm doing pretty well. A 'lil good stress. I needed a change.

 

Hehe..... I actually have enjoyed getting fired at times. Haha.

I got a new job and I'm slightly freaking out because it's a proper grown up job with lots of responsibility. And also it means that I'll be away from home four weeks at a time travelling around the country. Which is really cool, but also makes me a bit nervous. Aaaand I'm also getting a new home soon as I'm moving to Oxford. Lots of stuff is changing, really. But it's all good, or that's what the tarot cards said, anyway. :tongue:

 

That sounds awesome really. Traveling with work could defiantly be better then staying in one place. Good luck!

I am doing really good and really sucky at the same time.
Good-Got engaged. Great guy with great taste. He picked out the perfect ring and perfect spot. Have an awesome job lead and found out they have my graduate program near the city he lives in.
I also quit my crazy job and have sworn off management and stressful positions for life. I am going back to school full-time starting Monday for a fast-track class, so I am taking another month off from working.
OH! I quit smoking too...with A LOT of help from Andy.
I got my freelance contract back so I can speak at conferences again, which I am excited about.

Bad- Have apparently had strep throat for over a month and it turned into a strep infection on my face and I look disgusting and am on steroids that make me irritable and anti-biotics that make me naseaus and loratabs and viccodin that make me crazy.Because of this I had to leave Nevada early and come home so I really miss Andy. I also have to throw all of my old make-up away and can't wear anything on my skin for at least a month. At least my b-day is next month so...my whole wish-list is make-up. Thank god for birthdays!
Also had my bone grinded the other week and my gums cut so my mouth is still sore and infected from the strep.
I just feel sooooooooo gross and looking at myself in the mirror is really scary. I look deformed and am so afraid I am going to be this way forever even though it's supossed to clear up in 10 days. I normally have very nice skin so this is tough for me.

 

I was wondering if you ended up getting it or not. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank youuuu I found out on Wednesday that I did and I'm only just starting to calm down from the excitement :tongue:

Wow Lyns....that's some crazy stuff. I hope you feel better soon and I'm sure your face will be fine. I wouldn't worry. I'd say the good stuff for you def. outweighs the bad though.

And thanks about the picture. That was such a beautiful spot and I miss it already...can't WAIT to go back.

Thanks It does I am sooooooo happy and have never felt so sure of anything in my whole life.

But man I look freaky right now-like little kids would run away from me freaky. I heard it's becoming an epedemic down here though. I was int he infectious disease ward overnight on Tuesday. I go back tommorow and am hoping they don't decide to send me back ):
