http://tinyurl.com/36md5p why the hell people just cant mind their own business ? maybe because they havent one ? whats sooo hard in being a little tolerant ? read that idiocy and answer by yourself .
The author seems more concerned with the lack of grooming, rather than the feet themselves. The statements regarding health issues are pure BS, as we all know. The irony of it all is that barefooters invariably have much better maintained feet than shoddies. The general intolerance and hyper-image consciousness is typical of folks from the US these days...
sorry guys but i agree with the autor of the artical peoples feet are not pretty, hard souls ect ect ect. keep them under raps please.... im not intolorant people can do what the hell the want with their feet but i dont think its nice .
LOL - I like that the barefooting community seems to have jumped all over him, and rightfully so for some of his inaccuracies. Although as a foot lover, part of me agrees with his argument against people who are not taking great care of their feet! ;-P Too bad his attitude about how to deal with the situation is discriminatory and ludicrous - and he didn't do any fact-checking before printing his article. I mean, he claims that people wearing flip flops are getting parts of their feet touching the ground all the time which makes me ask "how often has he worn flip flops?" I almost never slip out of my flip flops...if my feet touch the bare ground, it's because I have made the decision to do so! If he had simply done an article talking about the most common foot maladies and offered suggestions for how to avoid or improve them (like going barefoot!) then he might have had something worth reading.
What a whiner. I bet his feet are nasty. I don't mind barefeet. As someone with a bit of a female foot fetish, I welcome summer and female feet around. Most of the feet look really nice and well cared for, so what the hell is he even talking about? Maybe he was looking at his own nasty feet while writing the article, and thinking everyone else's was as gross as his! lol
*posts under alias Pork Soda* I agree with his opinion on gross feet, but I said that the problems he mentioned are from shoes and if people had gone barefoot from the start, the problems wouldn't EXIST.
Um...why does he care so much about what other peoples' feet look like? That's ridiculous. He's carrying more germs on the bottoms of his shoes than we are on our bare soles. Think of all of the accumulated dog poo, fecal matter from public bathrooms, illnesses, mold that are on and in his shoes. Gross.
meh. the guy sounds like a complete idiot. bit of an intolerant asshole too but whatcha gonna do? lol essenceofweez, go primus
IMHO this guy has too much time on his hands to be complaining about the condition of a persons feet. Like Deadguy I too have a fetish for women's feet and there is nothing my eyes prefer more than a female foot either bare or in flip flops, I just love summer! I take great care of my feet, so they look great no matter what the season is. If you ask me there are worse things to look at than a pair of dirty calloused feet. Though he is entitled to express is opinion, he needs to get a life and leave us barefooters alone.
Some people have a phobia of feet just as some of us have a fetish. I can't understand why. Honestly, I haven't seen but one pair of nasty feet and it belonged to an older woman in sandals. I have a female foot fetish and I do notice. Guys tend not to have well cared for feet, but some do. I've gotten more compliments from woman, especially black women, about my feet. In fact, a female TSA officer at my airport just about went gaga when I walked bf thru here line. She went on and on about how good they look. Made me feel good since I don't think they're especially good looking.
I went barefoot to McDonalds today and sat down with my legs across each other under the table so the people sitting behind me would have seen the dirty soles my feet if they looked down. Probably that would be something the writer of that article would disapprove of. Does anyone else think it is rude to go barefoot into a restaurant?
Well, I'm pretty biased, but I think it's rude to wear shoes into any building. Sit-down Japanese restaurants here require that you remove your shoes at the entrance, so in that regard everyone there would consider it rude if you were to wear shoes inside. Many folks in the states, however, have a different view on the matter, as they seem to be psychotically paranoid of seeing a bare foot anywhere at all. BTW, I personally find it rude to the Earth and the Amazon rainforest in particular for anyone to go into McDuck's at all; the place is nothing but a carnival of death, glorifying imperialist, capitalist, nature despoiling, criminally greedy pigs who get rich from the painful slaughter of innocent animals. Salad, anyone?
:agree: save the rainforest ! once i used to spend some afterwork nighttime in a pub, after a day out my soles were pretty dark, and usually they showed up because i sat with my legs flat on the bench. also there were some african guys who did the same, so the whole saloon was populated by bare sole of various colors. the owners were friends of mine and never cast a word on this issue but they didnt seem to like this parade...
