im going to try to become a hacker lol, i always wished to and as soon as id try id try to start reading guides i would run out of free time or et bored and do something better. atm im bored because i have nothing better to do, and i have like 2-3 months of free time. im reading up on best first language atm and just wondered if theres any real hackers here if there are can i get a few answers on a good hackers abillities - can you break into almost anyones pc and see what they have on it and what they are doing atm? can you steal credit card numbers etc? can you seriously hack into government programs/facilities? lol if certain things in building are computer operated, can you seriously manipulaye them your selves, like cameras, power etc? can you get free stuff, like say hack a online store to send you shit?
I worked into some a while ago but I forgot a lot because I found better things to do. I may pick it up again but nothing quite as serious as your talking. Worst I did was generating fake CC #'s that got through PayPal. They figured it out very quickly though.
what does that do exactly? do you get like a topped up pp account? i would never steal from a person if they get hurt directly. im just asking because if such things are possible, then one could change certain aspects around and maybe fake a trasaction from say a huuuuuge company into giving u things. also i think it would be unbelievably fun just hacking into everything hidden, like reports/info etc. id love to hack into a concealed government ufo study or w/e, or say hack on of the observational space shuttles to follow and film a person on earth for a month hahaha, say like bush, find out where he buys his smack from, who he pays for sex etc XD
I'm pretty sure that it would require a lot of training in the right software to be able to hack into anything as serious as Government files, but it would be great to see what those fuckers are hiding XD.
Do you know any computer languages? Even the simplest ones? Html? C++? Hell, can you even use image tags on this forum?
i used to be a hacker but I grew away from it and turned to nature and drugs, anyway, most of the time you can not break into anyone's computer that easily, they are usually behind a router and their router is not set to foward the packets to the local computer, but if you are in the same network there are many exploits and process you can take to break into their computer you can steal credit card numbers if you hack into an online store and plant a trojan so you can keep going back and look at the incoming purchases, it will note cc#'s and credentials, or you can just scam somebody yes, if you are a good enough hacker you can break into government computers, hackers do it all the time, most government systems are relatively easy because there are a lot of vulnerable workstations, that have a lot of sensitive data, they also lead to bigger computers which are more interesting most cameras and power are not connected or controlled by computer directly in the building, some do though, if you can get in , you can control it but i must note: hacking is not like you see on tv and movies, there are no programs with cool graphics or just pressing the "hack" button, the actual process of hacking is done almost all on the command line, in a text environment with little graphics it is very hard and very risky, its easy to get caught, dont be stupid, cover your tracks
Back in the day, I was an idiot. I did a lot of that shit. I had a botnet, I had a lot of friends (in fact, im kind of glad I took that path I did, I did stupid shit but made some of the most valuable contacts). Anyone that pissed me off, Id send about 200 bots and DDoS their site to pieces. Obviously they were smaller sites, because 200 would do shit to a large scale site. I'd root into Windows machines using exploits (which can be found everywhere) and plant keyloggers kind of thing to log and get CC's. I never used the CC's or sold them. For me it was a matter of "Can I actually do this and get away with it?" To budtoker ^ no offense, but if you want in to someones machine bad enough, its incredibly simple. HOWEVER, I will say if they have a hardware firewall, you'll find that it is impossible to get in. Basically you dont attack the machine per-se as much as you attackwhatever firewall they have. Most of the time thats not even neccesary because users are idiots and have firewalls thinking theyre secure so they just hit accept to everything. NMAP, google it. It will be you best friend. I think the coolest thing I did was at a store, I was with my brother and we got into there admin panel and turned off all the cameras. We didn't steal we jusst left. Whats his face is kind of right about the C++. If you want to be "good", you'll want to learn it, and learn reverse engineering, i'd recommend C over C++ though. If you have the basic grasp, you can just find other peoples expoits, compile them, change a few variables here and there and use that. As for the risk involved. HEAVY. I was using a rooted machine running through a proxy, probably not the most secure because if someone smart enough wanted to find me they could have probably back tracked it to me.
oh ps. learn to use linux or a unix variation. It will be worth it in the end. I think you do though if I remember correctly.
^ yeah i found this site earlier today, bookmarked it you guys are so cool lol, i didnt expect so many of you to know so much, swazo dude that was so cool about the store, you shoulda started playing porn on theyre feed hahaha
A friend and I used to hack countless amounts of things. One time when hacked the schools router and added a DNS mask so that we could read everything being done, only on the admin computers, because otherwise shit woulda been pointless. One time we also made a virus that just deleted the whole share directory that everyone writes on at school. We called in project Deli, because the drive name was i and del was the comand used Man, I even remember hacking a local computer shops site into sending us a few LCD monitors free of charge, except shipping of course. I haven't gotten back into it, but I'm sure one day I will end up trying to do some crazy shit with dynamic IPs and rooting them back to the ISP and just totally fucking up the system. Should be fun stuff ^_^ ~And on a side note, hackthissite.org is too easy. One night my friend and I took down their main page and put up a huge, black, penis. It was fixed the next day, nontheless, it was a thrill.
Swazo is the only one that seems to know anything on this subject.. Like he said, u need to know basic programing languages to be able to understand the most basic of compositions and file structures then you need a HIGH level of understanding in encryption and securities, which is where imo you will fail this isnt somthing u just pick up, the best are all self taught, they learn basic stuff then adapt This is whats going to happen to you: You have an interest in it now, your gonna start reading and get so bored with programming languages you will give up, then perhaps dabble in some user-side stuff, like sending a worm into a hosts computer, and opening ports to be accessible [if u even get that far] the thing is, Windows is easy to hack, and you know why? because they release service packs and upgrade so often what hackers do it open these service packs, and see where the updates have been done, usually they are to update vulnerabilities within the system, the hacker then exploits these vulnerabilities in users who have not updated yet [which generally is everyone when a new release is just put out] therefore exploiting users ignorance, and even then, thats just for a typical host to get CC #'s etc. the encryption is sooo high that sorry, but I highly doubt you will put enough time forward to ever get close to being that good.
If you have a firewall as well as mine. It is nearly impossible. And even if you did, unless you have an extensive knowledge in Unix, it is pointless.
