Bleeding?

    you need moisture once that heals up!!! ouch.

    eurgh. my scalp does that sometimes, even when I wasn't dreading. try aloe or maybe if the itching gets too bad, cortisone creme.

    Thanks, Ill try some aloe. I usually try not to scratch, but if it gets too bad Im like..UGGGHHHH. I still havent found any Tea Tree Oil. I found the shampoo with Tea Tree Oil in it......But my paypal account is effed right now so I cant get it.:rolleyes:

    my scalp hardly ever itched at all... is this more of an issue when folks backcomb?

    I imagine it occurs due to dry scalp. I rinse my hair with salt water. That pretty much drys your scalp up really good.

    I would definitely rinse out your hair after going in any body of salt water, or using sea salt as a locking aid...

    That's definitely part of the itchies. Get some good dread shampoo, with minty oils that cools your scalp and go to town. It does wonders for my itchies. Also, I really really think that itchies is something that becomes less of a problem the longer you have them.. I've only had mine about a month and a week/and a half and I can go longer without washing now, without itchies.

    My hair acually locks better if I DONT wash. If I wash like after 4 days, I get the itchies REALLY bad the next morning.
